At the desk….Low water ‘HOs tribs report & H2O smells fishy

Posted: October 18, 2009 by Hellcat in Fish Reports

Until I bang this movie all the way out….here is my man Bear with a few words and a great pic. It’s a tribute pic for the tough conditions and low water fall ‘ho fishing and hiking.

Oh, and hang on for a great picture of H2O with a great chromer steelhead from today too! h3l

Hey brother I figured this was a fitting tribute to the fish gods after a beautiful day of fishing. Re-rigged the Fetha in anticipation of good steelheading to come.

Of course after the rain dance to get the fish in the mood to take a tasty well presented offering. I got to spend a day trudging through the dark to a coveted spot on an undisclosed river with friends.

And upon arrival stripping off a wet coat and BS,ing till we decided it was time to fish, which although only 1 fish landed and a few lost was all we had to show for the work and effort. It was still fishing, and still better than the best day at work.

Thanks again to you and Big Burge for tolerating the Bear and guiding him on an excellent adventure.

I am really looking forward to meeting up in Bear’s backyard and hooking a steely, or at least fishing for one.

Nook, the line is PLine CX Hi-Vis Green 15# and they are coming up now. If we get more rain this week we should start seeing good numbers in the trap. The water out here is fluctuating to much for consistant fish but the water is staying clear for the most part. I will keep the team up to date on the current conditions.
