MCP: Winters, springs, summers….whatever

Posted: March 26, 2011 by Hellcat in Fish Reports

Within the last four weeks…contributor Matt ‘More Chrome Please’ Morris has provided my blog with all of the big three species for this time of year…and then some:

1) Winter Steelhead a few weeks ago that would have made anyone’s entire season…landed and released and documented on this weblog.

2) Him AND his fishing partner both put EARLY SUMMER steelhead on their punch cards last weekend. Yes, I said ‘Summer’ steelhead.

3) After sleeping in too late and missing his boat ride today…MCP grabbed his bank rod and found his own way to catch a spring chinook that didn’t include dragging a decapitated herring around in circles.

Representing the TeamSalmon bank maggots like myself. Way to go, MCP. You are bringing the heat in ’11.

Here is MCP and one of his partners this morning at one of their revelled boxes showing off their early spring chinook catches. Cheers and tips. Thanks for contributing, guys.
