Bucket O’Tails….NOW THAT AIN’T NO LIE!!!
Leave it to the single most diverse contributor to Allaroundangler to wrangle up three different species for us to drool over all in one trip. That’s right: Sal Monid is at it again. Retirement or Rewirement, as he calls it, continues to treat him incredibly well.
While on a freshwater bass and sea-run cutthroat trip at the coast….Sal managed to squeeze in a 52 mile run out in Big Blue for Tuna with some long time friends of his, The Thorsens. They boarded their vessel at midnight on Saturday and began to fish some 5 hours later at first light.
Technically, it would normally be a RED ZONE for Sal to fish that early in the morning. But I guess this was an exception. Word is….Sal was the only one on deck with flip flop sandals on. Classic. Rain bibs for the bloody slaughter accompanied by flip flops. I friggin’ love my pops.
I’ll have a video of his trip which inlcludes pontoon largemouth fishing, sea-run cutthroat river fishing as well as the Tuna content very soon. TeamSmolt sleeping pattern depending.
Here’s something to wet your palate.
