I’ve made it abundantly clear that I am here to help anglers learn how to improve their game. This isn’t the place to come for the quick fix though. I won’t tell you where to go and what rock to stand on. I chose the header in my logo ‘Follow us for a week and catch the drift’ in order to emphasize this fact. This site is a classroom. I’ve always said it’s my job to ‘edutain’. A metamorphosis between educating and entertaining. Reluctantly, I would say I’m qualified for both.
Yes, there are plenty of on line resources that give you a quick fix. Many of which are far more popular than mine. For now. I’ll leave that as a caveat as AAA is certainly growing by leaps and bounds: Like a red-assed steelhead looking for a leader snap. Leaps and bounds. And I couldn’t do it without all of your participation, support and faith in the end result.
I guess ultimately I’ve always seen the end result as what we are accomplishing now: Camaraderie. Friendships. Sharing of knowledge. Respect for this river game. Sincerety. So in many ways, I’ve achieved what I set out to so many thousands of hours ago in 2006 when I started All Around Angler.com. It’s safe here. Safe to share without fear of exposure where undo. Safe to make fishing partners knowing you’ll have like-minded individuals sharing a common passion and goal.
I bring this labor of love, this overwhelming effort of heart….directly to you everyday. I hope everytime you log on you are struck with authenticity. I want you to feel like you’re right there with me. And if you’re not? I want you to feel like you can reach out via email or through a comment and begin a dialogue. This is our life. It’s right here. Right now. Take advantage. Get to know All Around Angler.com and help us really do this thing.
I’m Christopher Heller and they call me ‘H3llcat’ here on the site. Thanks for taking a moment to hear me out and as always: Thank you for your support.
Keep ‘em wet.

Nicely said Chris!
There is much to be learned on this site, from guys who really know how to get it done. Edutain is a great word, and a great description of what is going on here. The videos are indeed very entertaining, and there is alot one can learn from the videos. Guys, if you are watching these videos staring at the backgrounds so you can figure out where people are fishing, you are missing the point, and will never improve your game.
Also, your stories and articles section–Awesome. Like a fishing class textbook..
Guys, as an avid and successful backbouncer myself, I can tell you if you have an issue with it or do not know how to do it very well, take the information in that article and apply it, it couldn’t be written any better as an educational tool.
Same goes for all the other articles in there.
Hats off to you Chris, your heart and passion is undeniable, and it shows everywhere on this site.

Definitely from the heart. I think that is what sets this site apart from lots of others. It is not just about How many and how big the fish were. I like the commentary, the tutorials and the fact that you don’t identify the water. You have a great crew of folks that love the rivers and fishing. Sal
