Bonneville backtrolling n’ stuff….

I had a great time a couple weeks ago chasing huge numbers of Columbia River chinook…literally record breaking numbers…to absolutely no avail. Alas seventy two degree main stem water is no bueno for those salmonids beginning their journey. Imagine it as panic. Maybe makes a little more sense why these fish just turn off until colder water temps arrive. This was about three weeks ago. I believe we are still a degree or more away to a top end temp for fishable waters as well. Still a really fun day i wanted to share.
